Q is a Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist based between New York City and New Jersey. She has been a resident of the makeup world for 5 years and counting. As a growing artist, with an extensive background in fine arts, Q has created a diverse portfolio that showcases her adaptability and openness to various artistic ideas, ensuring that no project, regardless of size, is ever approached without full creativity and commitment. She has been involved in nearly every form of art and media and incorporate it into all my work. Her background consists of fine and visual arts as she grew up learning how to draw, paint, and sculpt. This led her to participate in behind the scenes of theater and photography from her early education through her 4 years at Temple University.
Q's formal education in the field began at Temple University, where she earned a degree in Theater Design and Production. During her four years at the university, she expanded her knowledge by taking additional classes in photography and film. This multifaceted education allowed her to delve into makeup artistry as a key component in film production, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors in makeup design. The integration of her theatrical background with practical makeup application has enriched her skill set, allowing her to seamlessly transition into the makeup industry. To further enhance her skills, Q enrolled in the Makeup Designory’s Master program, immersing herself in a rigorous educational environment dedicated to makeup arts. Over the course of 812 hours, she dedicated herself to mastering various makeup techniques, gaining valuable hands-on experience crucial for any aspiring makeup artist. This intensive training has equipped her with advanced skills and professional insights that are essential for creating captivating looks in film and media.

They have opened her eyes to the myriad possibilities within makeup and creature design, allowing her to explore new methods of character creation, such as crafting undead zombies or avant-garde fashion models.
